Motorcycle Advisory Task Force (MATF) Now Taking Applications for 2019-2021

ATTENTION ALL FREEDOM MINDED MOTORCYCLISTS IN MINNESOTA

Please consider applying to the Minnesota Motorcycle Advisory Task Force (MATF). It is very important that the views of everyone involved in Minnesota motorcycling are represented. The MATF meetings are only two hours long, six times a year and usually held in St. Paul.

Governor Walz Signs ABATE of MN's Motorcycle Awareness Proclamation

Every year ABATE of Minnesota asks the Governor to proclaim May as Motorcycle Awareness Month as a way to promote motorcycle awareness in our state. Thank you Governor Walz for signing the proclamation.

ABATE of MN Loses a Tireless Freedom Fighter

Kimberly A. Ostlund

1961–2019

Faribault—Kimberly A. Ostlund, age 57 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Luke's Church, 1100 9th Ave. SW, Faribault, with Pastor Gregory Purchla, officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

2020 ABATE University Highlights

What is ABATE University? ABATE University is our annual conference, held at the Holiday Inn, Alexandria, MN, this year on April 17-18, 2020, to enlighten and educate motorcyclists about the philosophy and overall objectives of ABATE of Minnesota and provide safety and legislative workshops for all motorcyclists. Other interesting and informative motorcycling related classes will be provided as well.
