Announcing Precinct Caucus Training

ABATE of Minnesota is pleased to announce precinct caucus training to be held in conjunction with the January quarterly Board of Directors meeting. Precinct caucuses are the first step used by Minnesota's major political parties to select the candidates and issues they will support in the 2010 elections. The three major political parties in Minnesota will hold precinct caucuses on February 2, 2010. The class is free and will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Board meeting and last about one hour.  The first class in October was very informative.

Godspeed Linda Decker

It is with a heavy heart that I pass along the loss of one of ABATE of Minnesota's early volunteers. Linda Decker served as State Treasurer and was a tireless helper. Linda and Don Decker were also a powerful force for Motorcycle Dial A Ride when it was in its infancy.

Godspeed Linda,

ABATE at Vikings Ride

Volunteers needed to promote ABATE of Minnesota at the Annual Vikings Ride

Jon Stutelberg, Metro Chapter, has promoted ABATE of Minnesota at this event for many years. Jon needs 20 helpers at the Hugo location and 10 people to sell memberships at the event in Hinckley. This is easy duty and not a huge time commitment.
